Stack Audio Alto top plate

Description

The Alto Top Plate is machined from a solid billet of aluminium with an additional aluminium inlay bonded with AVDC for trapping masking vibrations, both air-borne and from the motor.

Since the LP12 top-plate is one of the few things about the LP12 that has never been improved, Stack audio have come up with a solution that works.

This new and improved Top Plate has 3mm extra thickness to increase rigidity and further enhance performance. This along with precise machining plus an additional 3 plinth mounting points maintains flatness over time. The Alto Top Plate provides the most robust alignment of the spring retaining bolts that is fundamental to the long-term performance of the deck.
