We’d prefer to see all our customers in our store but realise that for many of you this isn’t possible. However, we feel it is important that we look after our distance customers as well as our local ones. Please read the following terms and conditions that relate to equipment ordered by our shopping basket system.
You will notice that many of the products we sell in store are not available for mail order. It is not that we don’t want to supply you. Instead it is our belief that these products require demonstration and installation, something that is only possible if you are based in South Yorkshire. We are not prepared to compromise the performance by not being able to ensure the job is done right. We will however gladly point you in the direction of a retailer more local to yourself who will be able to help.
How do I place an order?
Ordering is simple and totally secure using an encrypted system. Use the shopping basket system to choose your items and then follow the simple instructions to complete the order. You can pay by credit/debit card or using Paypal. We’ll take care of the rest.
We would be delighted to speak to you prior to making a purchase if you need help or advice. You can call or email us and we’ll give you as much time as you need. Our 40 years of advice is at your disposal.
If you prefer, you can also use your credit/debit card when ordering over the ‘phone. Or you can pay by cheque or bankers transfer if you wish.
Finally – for security your card details and sensitive DATA is not stored by us and is NEVER passed on to ANY third party.
PLEASE NOTE – We can only deliver to the adress the card is registered at.
Currently we are only supplying good inside the UK.
Delivery & Shipping
Our aim is to deliver as quickly as possible. We use DPD for larger items. If you've provided us with a mobile no/email adress you'll receive notification of a delivery window. We ONLY deliver to your registered payment address. This is the address registered to your payment card or method.
Sometimes delivery is within two days but this is dependent on stock and as you are aware these have been trying times. If delivery will be longer than 7 days, you will be advised when we receive your order. We will refund any items where delays prove unacceptable to you.
We wrap everything in recycled brown paper and wherever possible used recycled materials to pack items.
Shipping costs? – What shipping costs! We do not charge for shipping to addresses in the Mainland UK. There are no additional costs. VAT @ the current rate IS also INCLUDED in all prices.
NB - please open items carefully and keep all packaging.
Our pricing policy
It is our aim to offer transparent and fair prices for everything on this site. From time to time, we offer clearance, x-demo or end-of-line items and they are always clearly marked as such. In any event we try to ensure all our prices are as competitive as possible. We are not always the cheapest, but we think you will find that our service is second to none and our selections is the best possible.
Your Privacy is vitally important to us and we respect it. We hold none of your DATA once your transaction is completed. In any event the only data we collect is to process your order and to provide you with the best service.

We go to great lengths to ensure the products are the best in their class but in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase we will offer an alternative or a refund (except return shipping cost) within 30 days. Returned goods must be returned in perfect condition and with all packing intact for refund to be considered. We advise our customers to keep ALL packaging safe for this reason.
ALL PRODUCTS COME WITH THE MANUFACTURERS WARRANTIES (normally 2 years) AND ARE BRAND NEW IN SEALED BOXES UNLESS OTHERWISE CLEARLY STATED
In the extremely unlikely event that you have a complaint concerning Moorgate Acoustics, contact me directly by email at email@example.com or by telephone on (0114) 275 6048. We will acknowledge receipt of your email within 2 working days. Your complaint will be personally dealt with by either myself or a senior manager and you will be kept informed during all stages of the complaints procedure. We will fix it if is it damaged, replace it it is not right for you and put right any reasonable complaint. Satisfied customers built our business and we pride ourselves on looking after them.
Please note: Our customer service telephone line is manned from 9.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday. An answering service operates outside these hours for you to leave a message.

What to do in the event of products arriving damaged?
We pack things exceptional well and cover them in brown paper for added security. However, in the event shipping loss or damage, the item(s) will be replaced as quickly as stock arrives. The damaged items will also be uplifted.
What methods of payment do we accept?
We are authorized Credit Card Merchants accepting; Visa, Master Card, Euro card, Switch, Delta, and Solo. We also accept paypal and Apple pay. We can also take credit/debit cards over the telephone as well as via our shopping basket system. We also accept cheques made payable to Moorgate Acoustics and bank transfer.
Online payments use the Stripe payment system which uses a combination of established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Our internet facing web servers are certified by Verisign, this ensures that no third parties can impersonate Stripe to obtain secure information. We also accept Paypal.
NB: We attempt wherever possible to pack equipment using recyled packaging!
