These US made speakers have been on our radar for a while but we recently loaned three pairs and I'd like to add a little feedback about them. The models we have are Nico, Emma and Kiva 2.
As some of you know I tend to sit on my computer to one side of the showroom system. Or I work on LP12's at the same location. It means I can speak to customers and keep an eye on things whilst I am working online or on the LP12's. It also means that I am accompanied by music every hour of my working day. This is both exceptionally good and also exceptionally bad. Good because I love music and bad if the stereo system we have playing isn't up to par. And by "not up to par" I don't mean expensive. What I actually mean is that the system does not get on my nerves and become fatiguing.

Fatigue (or lack of it) is the best way to measure a stereo systems performance. Put simply if it doesn't make you want to turn it down or turn it off then it is very good. And please understand I am talking in person, on the phone, dealing with social media and working on turntables all the time. So I actually have a very low threshold for anything that starts to get on my nerves.
This brings me to Egglestoneworks. These speakers have been on my radar and we've even had them in store once before. Paul Cooper speaks very highly of them and becomes almost romantic over beer.
Lately I have had extremely little time to sit and listen to anything properly due to all manner of circumstances and because of how busy we are. So my listening consists of "whilst things are playing in the background". And it is here that I have discovered an immense respect for Egglestonworks.
These speakers do not impress. They seduce. And they do so magnificently. Nothing about them tires me out. I don't need to turn them down. And I keep hearing things that stop me in my tracks. I realise that this means that to the casual "I'll have a quick listen" customer; these speakers might underwhelm. But see past that and you'll find something truly special.
We anticipate them being on demo late in March and we will hold a launch event subsequently.
