Amazingly we've had a great season. This is mainly due to customer loyalty and repeat business, plus a healthy range of special offers and some fantastic trade in equipment, which always stimulates interest.
I say amazingly because the economic outlook is fairly poor and the press just spread endless doom and gloom regardless of the format or platform. Perhaps this is why music is more important than ever.
We've taken on some new products over the last quarter of 2025. These include Goldnote phono stages, Acoustic Energy AE1 40th anniversary loudspeakers and Michell turntables (yet to arrive). We continue to look at our range with a view to improving it where possible. It represents a continuous process that has been forty four years in the making.
Last year we also added a new member of staff to our team. We've known James Hoy for almost 40 years as a customer. He needed very little training and has enthusiasm in abundance. He's also technical and has a good understanding of digital and network matters. He's fitting in very well and bringing a missing ingredient into our mix. He joins myself, Paul Cooper and Kevin Gill.
We're looking forward to seeing what the fates throw at us and we're looking forward to continuing to look after customers new and old. Retail isn't easy these days and my suspicion is that it will get harder in the months and years to come. However we are a niche business and we understand what our customers expect and love because we love it too.
