The all new Solid-Sounds 'GEO' turntable wall shelf has been designed to the great features found in the best wall shelves of yesteryear & improve on their often found flaws. Wall mounting a turntable is both a brilliant way to eliminate any floor born vibrations but also get he trustable to a very comfortable height for safe operation.
The 'GEO' wall shelf with it geometric structure offers the turntable user a very sturdy wall shelf that can accommodate up to a 40kg turntable (weight limit is largely determined by the choice of fixing that the user chooses to use*). The useable shelf space is 500 x 400 mm plus a further 50mm a the rear ensuring that the design will cater for the bulk of turntables.
Unlike many of the vintage wall shelf examples still seen in use today the 'GEO' wall shelf uses a very strong but light 20mm real wood veneered MDF shelf. We offer a choice of American black walnut, Oak & Black ash with other custom choices available upon request. Once the shelf is installed the user can further level the shelf by using 4 small spiked grub screws located in the top of the frame.. Each shelf will be supplied with our trademark inset levelling bubble pre installed.
During our research of the existing wall shelves available a common flaw in their designs were that it was often hard to access the fixing holes so we have ensured that all 6 mounting holes are free from obstruction and electric drill accessible. We have also ensured that the fixing holes are spaced in line with standard UK stud wall spacing. Its small but vital details like this that sets our wall shelf apart from its competitors.
